Simran Mundi (Hindi: सिमरन कौर मुंडी, Punjabi: ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੌਰ ਮੁੰਦੀ) is an Indian Actress who made her Bollywood debut with Jo Hum Chahein in 2011. Prior to that she was a successful model and was crowned Femina Miss India Universe 2008 in Mumbai on April 5, 2008. She represented India at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant held at the Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang,She completed her Bio-Technology degree from the Holkar College of Science Indore in 2007. After her graduation she moved back to Mumbai and worked with Fame Cinemas in Andheri - as a guest relations executive, where she exclusively managed bookings for professionals from the film and media industry.^[4] It was while working here that she got noticed by Bharat and Dorris, one of the top make up artist's in the business who encouraged her to participate in Femina Miss India 2008. After winning the prestigious title and representing India at the Miss Universe Pageant she began her career as a professional model where she worked with all the top names in the modelling industry before making her debut as an actor with Jo Hum Chahein.
