Srabanti Chatterjee Biswas (Bengali: শ্রাবন্তী চট্টোপাধ্যায়, commonly known by her first name only, Srabanti (alternately Shrabanti), born 13 August 1987, Kolkata, India) is aBengali Film actress.Shrabanti, who has delivered a hit in 2008 with Bhalobasa Bhalobasa, and Dev, who set the screen sizzling with his electric presence in Mon Maane Naa, are being paired for the first time in a new Bengali film that will hit the floors later this month. The film is being directed by Rajib Biswas, who, incidentally, is Shrabanti's husband in real life.Dev and Shrabanti play kids of rich parents for whom the parents have no time. They meet in college, bond for a while and then fall in love. But the parents object and the two get separated. "It is the pain of being forcibly separated by the parents that forms the crux of the story," says Rajib.
